State v. Brown

Syllabus
Trial court did not abuse its discretion by denying motion to withdraw guilty plea because appellant failed to establish manifest injustice through facts in the record demonstrating that his mental health issues or medication status at the time of the plea hearing prevented him from making a knowing, voluntary, and intelligent plea. Appellant also failed to show facts that would overcome the presumption of competency such that his counsel rendered ineffective assistance by failing to request a competency hearing.
