Syllabus
Per Mayle, J., trial court explicitly found that defendant has or is reasonably expected to have means to pay costs of confinement and appointed-counsel fees. Court was not required to explain findings. Information contained in record, including statements made at plea hearing, statements made at sentencing hearing, and information contained in PSI, support imposition of costs and assessment of fees. Assessment of appointed-counsel fees vacated for failing to comply with State v. Taylor, 2020-Ohio-6786.
Judges: Mayle
