Syllabus
<p>Bahkbtjptoy—Jubtsdictiok.—The date of the filing of the petition becomes, after the adjudication of bankruptcy, the date from which the assignee takes all the property of the bankrupt, which was his property at that date, but the assignee does not take anything lohich became the property oj the bankrupt after that date; the property subsequently acquired by the bankrupt forms no part of the estate in bankruptcy and the United States District Court has no jurisdiction over it.</p>
