How do I get a concealed carry permit in Arizona?

Federal & State Law Editorial TeamLast reviewed: 2026-05-17

Arizona was one of the first modern permitless-carry states, with A.R.S. § 13-3102 (as amended in 2010) removing the requirement for a concealed weapons permit. An optional Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) remains useful for reciprocity.
