Request all evidence the government intends to use at trial, witness lists and statements, expert reports, prior statements of the defendant, and any evidence favorable to the defense (exculpatory or impeachment material under Brady v. Maryland and Giglio v. United States). Cite the applicable discovery rules (FRCP 16 for federal cases, state rules for state cases). Failure to disclose Brady material can result in reversal of a conviction.
