On February 15, 2024, the EPA Headquarters issued a Stop Sale, Use, or Removal Order (SSURO) to SiteOne Landscape Supply, Inc. (SiteOne), ordering the company to immediately stop the sale or distribution of pesticide products that the EPA had reason to believe were being offered for sale in violation of FIFRA section 12(a)(1)(E). These provisions make it unlawful for any person to distribute or sell pesticides that are misbranded.
