Case summary

This case concerns the sale and installation by Ryan's Diesel Service LLC (Ryan's) in 20 motor vehicles of emissions control defeat devices during the period from December 2014 to January 2016. Defeat devices are products which render inoperative emission control systems on EPA-certified motor vehicles and motor vehicle engines.
