EPA v. Halliburton Energy Services

Case summary

This case addresses violations of the Clean Air Act (CAA) by Halliburton Energy Services(Halliburton) an oil and gas field services company out of Houston, Texas. Halliburton imported 1 oil drilling power pack on February 8, 2010 which did not comply with the requirements of 40 C.FR. 89.611. On April 23, 2010, EPA requested that U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) seize the power pack and that CBP bring an enforcement action against Halliburton.
