On May 14, 2020 Region 10 filed an Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) to resolve Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) violations at Maxum Petroleum Port of Bellingham Fairhaven Facility in Washington following a September 2017 SPCC inspection. The SPCC deficiencies included a lack of updated SPCC Plan and secondary containment bypass issues. The facility has since corrected the compliance issues at the facility. The Respondent also agreed to pay a penalty of $4750.
