Case summary
On July 23, 2018, EPA Region 10 issued seven Stop Sale, Use, or Removal Orders (SSURO) to Nutrilife Plant Products (Aldergrove, British Columbia, Canada) and six of its distributors to stop the distribution and sale of the product SM-90 in the United States. The six distributors include: All Seasons Horticultural Products, Inc.; Biofloral LLC; BWGS, LLC; Hydrofarm LLC; Hydrotek Hydroponics; and Sunlight Supply, Inc. SM-90 is an unregistered pesticide on the basis of its composition, presticidal claims made on the product label, and widespread knowledge regarding the products pesticidal effect. The SSUROs are the result of collaboration with Oregon Department of Agriculture and Washington State Department of Agriculture.
