Case summary
On December 7, 2017, EPA Region 10 settled with Wolfkill Feed & Fertilizer Corporation (Monroe, Washington) for violations of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). Wolfkill is the registrant and distributor of a weed and feed product called ALL PRO Products Lawn Food with Moss Control 12-0-4. An EPA June 9, 2015, inspection of Wolfkill?s Monroe pesticide producing establishment, revealed misbranded labels; including misleading statements of practical treatment if the product is ingested. Between January 2015 and June 2015, Wolfkill distributed this misbranded product on at least 82 occasions in violation of FIFRA. See FIFRA Section 12(a)(1)(E). The company agreed to pay a civil penalty of $1,000.
