Case summary
On September 9, 2014, Region 10 issued a unilateral order to require Ms. Trudy Tush, owner and operator of the Estell Subdivision, Lot 2 Public Water System, in Anchorage, Alaska, to return the system to compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) within 90 days. The Order requires the water system to monitor for arsenic and total coliform, to submit a plan to come into compliance with the arsenic MCL and to provide the water system's customers a notice about failure to comply with these monitoring requirements and the MCL violation. The Order also requires Estell Subdivision to provide a Consumer Confidence Report detailing the quality of water provided to the water system's customers.
