Case summary
On June 5, 2013 Region 10 filed an Expedited Settlement Agreement which both initiated and concluded an administrative action against International Seafoods of Alaska, Inc. for violations of CAA § 112(r) risk management program requirements that apply to its use of anhydrous ammonia. The mechanical integrity and operating procedure violations have since been corrected. Under the terms of the ESA, the company paid a penalty of $3,000.
