Case summary
On March 28, 2013, Region 10 filed a CAFO with the U.S. Air Force 611th Air Support Group (611th ASG), the owner and operator of four motor vehicle waste disposal wells located at the Sparrevohn, Tatalina, and Indian Mountain Long Range Radar Sites in Alaska. Motor vehicle waste disposal wells were required to be closed in Alaska by January 1, 2005. The 611th ASG has now permanently closed the four wells. The 611th ASG agreed to pay a $45,000 penalty for its delay in closing the wells.
