Case summary
On February 17, 2009, the FIFRA Import Coordinator received a Notice of Arrival of Pesticides and Devices from Heather Thompson of CH Robinson. CH Robinson is the import broker for Axss USA LLC who was trying to import 80000 kg of 2,4-D Acid (EPA Reg. No. 83520-9). Coordinator then spoke to Susan Rowse and Tamara Benson at Terminal 18 to arrange a tailgate inspection on February 19, 2009. Label review during the inspection revealed that the product had two EPA Establishment Numbers on the label. Because of this problem, the product is being placed under a stop sale order. The product was released under bond to Transbas Inc., 1525 Lockwood Road, Billings, Montana 59101.
