Case summary
Libertas Now is a new registrant and has never imported their recenlty registered pesticide (knockout extra EPA Reg No. 81142-3). EPA scheduled a routine important because the product had never been imported into EPA R10. During convesations w/the importer, EPA R10 discovered that the product containers did not have any labels attached. EPA conducted an inspection on 5/23/05 to verify the containers were unlabeled. A Stop Sale Order was issued on 5/27/05 to stop the further sale and distribution of 80,000 lbs of misbranded knowckout (EPA Reg No 811-42-3). This penalty action is in follow up to EPA's Stop Order Sale.
