Case summary

XTO Energy, Inc. is authorized to discharge pollutants from the three facilities pursuant to the General Permit for Oil and Gas Exploration, Development, and Production Facilities in Cook Inlet, NPDES Permit No. AKG28500. XTO?s discharge monitoring reports from January 2000 to June 2004 indicate that the three facilities were in violation of both daily maximum and monthly average effluent limitations set forth in the Permit. Each facility was assessed an administrative penalty for their effluent limit violations under CWA Section 309(g)(2). These penalties were addressed in one CAFO.
