EPA v. Colville Tribal Enterprise Corporation dba Colville Indian Power & Veneer

Case summary

CIPV violated a number of conditions in its Title V permit, which EPA issued on June 10, 2003. Violations include uncontrolled emissions from the veneer dryers, failure to submit notifications, failure to monitor and to record results, failure to pay annual fees timely, failure to report all deviations in its annual compliance certification, and failure to submit a 6 month monitoring report. A Notice of Noncompliance was issued on 12/30/03 and a second Notice of Noncompliance addressing subsequently discovered violations will be sent prior to the issuance of an Order. CTEC representatives have agreed to enter into an Administrative Order on Consent with EPA to resolve the outstanding violations.
