Case summary
On April 9, 2024, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 9 (EPA) issued an Administrative Order (Order) to Foothills Water and Sewer, LLC public water system (System) pursuant to Section 1414 of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), 42 U.S.C. � 300i, to address the failure to include all the required components of the emergency response plan (ERP) specified in Section 1433(b) of the SDWA, 42 U.S.C. Section 300i-2(b). EPA has determined that the System has fulfilled the requirements of the Order by certifying completion of the ERP on July 12, 2024. EPA reviewed the ERP and verified that the document has been completed in accordance with Section 1433 of the SDWA. Based on this determination, EPA hereby terminates the Order. Termination of the Order does not relieve the System of its obligation to comply with the SDWA and its implementing regulations.
