Case summary
On April 8, 2009 and October 8, 2010, representatives of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), accompanied by members of the Anaheim Fire Department conducted an inspection at Classic Plating Incorporated, located in Anaheim, California. During the course of the investigations, EPA noted the the following violations: Storage of HW without a permit; failure to minimize the possibility of releases of hazardous waste; failure to close containers holding hazardous waste; failure to submit a Biennial Reports, failure to comply with the requirements in the Contingency Plan; failure to meet the Universal Waste requirements and failure to comply with a 3013 Order. Facility also failed to answer the complaint.
