Case summary
This Administrative Settlement Agreement and Order on Consent is entered into voluntarily by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, and Asarco LLC ( Respondent ). Pursuant to this Settlement Agreement, Respondent agrees to conduct removal actions at residential areas in portions of Hayden and Winkleman and at areas on the Asarco Hayden Plant Site in Hayden, Arizona, and to conduct a Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study ( RI/FS ) consistent with the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan.
