Case summary

This is an Administrative Order on Consent (AOC) pursuant to CERCLA 122(a) and 122(d)(3). On March 8, 2006, EPA, Region 9 entered into an agreement with Paul McCoy�s Laundry and Dry Cleaner�s Inc. requiring a Focused Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study at its facility, located within the third operable unit of the Motorola 52nd Street Superfund Site in Phoenix, Arizona. The agreement also requires Paul McCoy�s to pay EPA�s past and future costs associated with the Focused RI/FS into the Motorola 52nd Street Superfund Site special account. EPA notified potentially responsible parties (PRPs) associated with twelve facilities in the third operable unit of the Superfund site seeking their agreement to conduct work at their respective sites. Paul McCoy�s is the sixth facility group to sign an Administrative Order on Consent.
