Case summary
This is an administrative penalty order pursuant to RCRA issued to Julia Duarte and Ideal Custom Plating. The violation involves failure to make a waste determination; failure to obtain a permit for storage of hazardous waste; failure to maintain and operate the facility to minimize the possibility of an unplanned release of hazardous waste; failure to properly contain universal waste (fluorescent lamps); failure to conduct weekly inspections of the hazardous waste storage area; and failure to keep containers of hazardous waste closed.
