Case summary

This is a APO pursuant to RCRA issued to the Regents of the University of California. The Repondent submitted thousands of disclosed violations for the nine UCs. The most disclosed violation was of labeling for solvent, acid, or silver containing photochemical wastes. According to the self audit reports, the disclosed violations had no associated environmental harm. The Order directs the Respondent to pay a penalty for certain violations that were not eligible for penalty mitigation under the audit policy. The CAFO also documents the results of the UCs self audits.
