Case summary

This is a Unilateral Administrative Order pursuant to CERCLA issued to Enterprise Sales Inc., Dan Fleischman, and the Joan and Arthur Fleischman Trust. The named Respondents are past and current owners and operators of the Site facility. The Order required the performance of a removal action to address on-going releases of hazardous substances. The Enterprise Sales facility is located in the City of Los Angeles and is a former liquids and aerosols manufacturing facility. The last operator at the facility, Enterprise Sales Inc., discontinued operations in September 1999. The Site contains five large above ground storage tanks containing corrosive and flammable hazardous wastes. These tanks have holes and show signs of deterioration. The UAO will require the Respondents to decommission these tanks and dispose of all hazardous wastes in accordance with federal and state regulations.
