Case summary
Region 8 received a referral from EPA Headquarters that indicated Bioxy USA was distributing an unregistered pesticide called Bioxy Plus. Bioxy Plus is being sold as an disinfectant and has not been registered with the EPA. Region 8 requested that the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food conduct a Producer Establishment Inspection. The Utah Inspector gathered evidence that Bioxy USA was indeed distributing the unregistered Bioxy Plus pesticide in the US. Additionally, evidence gathered documented that Bioxy USA was distributing two other unregistered pesticides in the US, Bioxy H and Bioxy +. On June 30, 2016 Region 8 issued a Stop Sale, Use or Removal Order to Bioxy USA ordering them to stop selling the three unregistered pesticides.
