Case summary
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is in receipt of correspondence from Bonanza Creek Energy Operating Company, LLC (BCEOC), dated December 15, 2014. BCEOC submitted reports and information to the EPA in connection with a voluntary self-disclosure of its potential noncompliance with the initial startup and construction notification requirements in the Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) at 40 C.F.R. part 60, subpart JJJJ (Self-Disclosure). Upon review of BCEOC's Self-Disclosure, the EPA has determined that BCEOC violated notification requirements at several sites, as detailed in the enclosed Notice of Determination. Not all violations disclosed are resolved by this NOD, see EA ID 08-2016-0046.
