Case summary

A pesticide product being imported into the US through the Denver International Airport port of entry was denied entry. An ACO, Notice of Refusal of Admission, was issued on March 10, 2015, to Sumitomo Corp. of Americas in NY, NY. The EPA establishment number on the product containers did not match the EPA establishment number on the label of the product that was provided to EPA. The respondent then provided EPA with a copy of the label that matched the product conainer label with the correct EPA establishment number. The product was then allowed entry into the US.
