Case summary
EPA issued the Administrative Order(AO) on January 27, 2010,Docket No. SDWA-08-2010-0007. The Order required the system to comply with montioring for combined radium, gross alpha, nitrates, inorganic contaminates, volatile organic contaminates, and provide public notice(PN) of the violations. A violation of the AO (AOV) was issued on September 13, 2010 for failure to monitor for combined radium and failure to report the vioaltion to the EPA and State. On March 12, 2014, another AOV was issued for April 3, 2008, for failure to monitor for volatile inorganic contaminates and report the violation to the State and EPA. The Complaint and Notice of Opportunity for Hearing(CNOH) was issued on July 24, 2014. A response was received from Terry Burkholder on August 11, 2014.
