Final Order No Penalty

Case summary

On 3.4.13 EPA conducted an import shipment of the pesticide Bioguard Tri-Bor Paste at Denver International Airport. The product was released and allowed to enter the U.S. Upon further review of the pesticide product, EPA determined the product should not have been allowed entry into the U.S. as the product was not registered as a pesticide with EPA. A FIFRA Stop Sale, Use Or Removal Order (SSURO) was issued to the company, Polecare Inc., on 4.1.13. The SSURO ordered Polecare Inc. not to distribute, sell, use or remove all quantities of the product included in the import shipment.
