EPA NPDES staff conducted a construction stormwater inspection at the above referenced construction site, on July 18, 2012. GE Johnson Construction Co. began constructing an office building in Garfield County in February 2012, clearing approximately 5 acres. The site discharges to two storm drains with minimal protection. The site map and stormwater management plan have not been updated to reflect current site conditions and GE has not completed site inspections since April 2012. Violations of the Colorado Discharge Permit System General Permit for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Construction Activity include failure to control stormwater discharges from the site, failure to control pollutants from the cement batch plant on site, failure to conduct inspections, and failure to maintain the SWMP and site map
