Case summary
A Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT) Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) inspector obtained evidence during an inspection that the company was selling a product which had not been authorized for use since February 1, 2008. The Order requires that Western Bee cease any further sales of the product and provide an inventory of the product on hand to EPA as well as a disposition plan for the product. This facility is within the exterior boundaries of the Flathead Indian Reservation and information provided by the CSKT inspector indicates that the company is not a tribally owned or operated facility.
