Case summary
THE RESPONDENT VIOLATED THE SPILL PREVENTION CONTROL AND COUNTERMEASURE PLAN (SPCC). A SPCC inspection was conducted on July 8, 2012 and SPCC plan and implementation violations were observed at this bulk storage facility. Observed problems with pipe support were corrected, and a revised SPCC plan, which was non-compliant with the regulations was submitted to EPA on December 5, 2011. Amendments were made to the plan to correct plan deficiencies, and the revised plan was submitted to EPA. The facility is now in compliance.
