Case summary
NPDES Enforcement, in conjunction with the Department of Justice, has agreed to settle alleged construction stormwater violations with Hunt Building (Hunt). Hunt is agreeing to pay a civil penalty of $310,000. This settles repeated failures to comply with permit requirements at two construction sites located on the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, including requirements to install and maintain adequate stormwater pollution controls.
