EPA v. High Meadow Ranch
Final Order No Penalty
Case summary
This Emergency Administrative Order is issued to High Meadow Ranch Owners Association. EPA has determined that the Sauk Trail well of the High Meadow Ranch Water System ran dry leading to a loss of pressure in the distribution system which may cause a net movement of water from outside the pipe to the inside through cracks, breaks, or joints in the distribution system that are common in all water systems. These conditions may pose an imminent and substantial health endangerment to persons served by the system.
