This notice of violation is issued to the South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources for violations at the Shirt Tail Gulch Development. These violations consist of failure to monitor for pesticides, failure to monitor for volatile organic contaminants, exceeding the maximum contamination level average for combined radium -226 and radium -228; failure to monitor for lead and copper; failure to provide public notice of the violations; and failure to report the violations to the State.
