On September 1, 2026, Region 6 issued an Administrative Orders (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 309 of the CWA to the City of Fulshear, Texas (Respondent). The AO was issued in response to effluent violations of the TPDES permit limits for their WWTPs. The AO requires the Respondent facility to 1) immediately comply with the permit, 2) submit a list of specific actions taken to correct the violations with a certification that the violations have been corrected, or 3) submit a compliance plan if the violations cannot be corrected within 30 days. The Respondents must reply to EPA within 30 days of the effective date of the AO.
