From April 9 to 11, 2024, EPA Region 6 conducted an inspection of the Facility. Pursuant to Section 114 of the CAA, 42 U.S.C. ? 7414, the EPA requested documentation on February 14, 2024, and Respondent provided on March 5, 2024, information concerning the Incident and Respondent's compliance with Section 112(r) of the CAA 42 U.S.C. ? 7412(r), and 40 C.F.R. Part 68. On June 17 2024, EPA Region 6 issued a notice of violation to Chalmette.EPA determined two violations for the CAA Risk Management Program.
