Case summary

EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 1414(g) of the Safe Drinking Water Act to Tallulah Water System located in Tallulah, Louisiana. The AO was issued in response to violations of the 40 C.F.R. Part 141.401 for failing to address the significant deficiencies identified during sanitary surveys conducted by LDH in 2021 and 2023. On May 6, 2025, pursuant to section 1445(b) of the Safe Drinking Water Act, EPA conducted an inspection to determine compliance with applicable federal and state regulations. EPA conferred with LDH regarding this order, and LDH did not object to initiating this enforcement action. The AO requires My Place Mobile Home Park to address the significant deficiencies and submit a report to EPA and LDH indicating what actions have been taken and how the deficiencies have been addressed within thirty (30) days of receipt of this Order.
