On July 8, 2020 thru August 6, 2020, EPA conducted a Virtual Partial Compliance Evaluation (VPCE) at the facility. EPA submitted to Respondent on May 26, 2021 , a Notice of Potential Violation and Opportunity to Confer. On or about June 29, 2021. the Venice Station Condensate Stabilization sent its written response to EPA.EPA noted the following violations: Failure to provide documentation of adequate management of the Risk Management Plan (RMP) Program; Inadequate Process Hazard Analyses (PHA); Inadequate Operating Procedure; and, Inadequate Refresher Training.
