Case summary
On June 14, 2022, EPA issued an Administrative Order (AO) to Amelia Dairy (facility). The AO requires the facility to comply with its concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFO) permit issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Within 45 days from the effective date of this Order, Respondent shall provide EPA with a plan outlining the proposed activities and timeframe for addressing the violations alleged and coming into compliance with the TCEQ-issued CAFO permit.
