During the week of June 27, 2022, a Final Administrative Compliance Order (AO) will be issued to Contango Resources, LLC (Respondent). On April 28, 2022, a Proposed Administrative Compliance Order (Proposed AO) was issued Contango Resources, LLC (Respondent). The Proposed AO alleges Respondent violated regulations set forth at 40 C.F.R. ?? 147.2903(b), 147.2909 and 147.2912(a) by maintaining an injection well in a manner that could allow the movement of fluid that contains contaminants into an Underground Source of Drinking Water (USDW) and by failing to successfully demonstrate mechanical integrity.
