Case summary

On September 30, 2020, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Compliance Order on Consent (AOC) under the authority of Section 113(a)(1)(A) of the Clean Air Act, 42 U.S.C. ? 7413(a)(1)(A) to Honeywell International Inc. (Honeywell) for its Baton Rouge plant located in Baton Rouge, LA. The AOC was issued in response to a violation of LAC 33:III.919.B.1 of the Louisiana SIP for failing to report actual emissions in the annual emissions inventory for VOC for reporting year 2017 as to various emissions sources at the facility. The AOC requires Honeywell to report actual emissions in its annual emissions inventory for 2017, review its procedures for submitting annual emissions inventories to LDEQ and update as necessary to ensure future accurate emissions reporting, and submit to EPA a copy of the signed Certification Statement submitted to LDEQ for reporting year 2017 within 60 days and for reporting year 2020 within one year of this order.
