Case summary

On May 20, 2019, EPA Region 6 issued a Administrative Compliance Order on Consent (AOC) under its authority pursuant to Section 113(a)(1)(A) of the Clean Air Act to Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) located in DeRidder, LA. The AOC was issued in response to violation of LAC 33:III.919.B.1 of the Louisiana SIP by failing to report actual emissions in the annual emissions inventories for VOCs, CO, SO2, PM10, PM2.5, and ammonia for reporting years 2016 and 2017 as to various emissions sources at the Facility. The AOC requires PCA to report actual emissions in their annual emissions inventories for 2016 and 2017.
