on April 29, 2019, EPA Region 6 Storm Water Inspector Carol Johnson arrived at Texas Department of Transportation (TXDoT) ? Hutchins, South east engineering and maintenance yard, for an unannounced Compliance Evaluation Inspection (CEI). Ms. Johnson met with Jason Garrett, TXDoT Environmental Specialist, and Gerald Lones, TXDoT Maintenance Supervisor, and informed them that this was an EPA inspection to determine compliance with the facility?s TPDES statewide Permit and the Clean Water Act. The inspection was conducted under the authority of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit program, in accordance with the Federal Clean Water Act.
