Unilateral Administrative Order Without Adjudication
Case summary
On October 23, 2018, EPA R6 Storm Water Team conducted a small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (sMS4) Pre-Assessment and Inspection, in the City of Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. The Team conducted staff interviews about the management, operations and maintenance of the sMS4's Storm Water Management Program (SWMP); and inspected their owned and operated facilities to determine compliance with sMS4 permit requirements. Results from the Pre-Assessment/Inspection will rank the municipality for a more comprehensive sMS4 Self-Assessment/Audit, administered by EPA or the State. This Initiative is in accordance with EPA?s National MS4 Storm Water Initiative to check all MS4s? (large and small) SWMPs for permit compliance. Mary David, MS4 Stormwater Inspector with LDEQ was invited to attend, this inspection.
