Case summary
EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) to John Rodell doing business as West Cedar Creek water system (Respondent). EPA Region 6 issued the AO under its authority pursuant to the Safe Drinking Water Act to Respondent at its water system in Buffalo,Texas. The AO was issued in response to violations of the RTCR. The AO required Respondent to do the following: within thirty days of receipt of this AO, Respondent shall 1)conduct a Level 1 assessment of the Public Water System; 2) submit the completed Level 1 assessment form to TCEQ for review with a copy to EPA; 3) give public notice of the violations to their customers if it has not done it; and 4) within forty days provide a copy of all public notices to EPA and TCEQ.
