Case summary

On June 23, 2015, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order on Consent (AOC) under its authority pursuant to the Clean Air Act to Western Refining Company. The AOC was issued in response to violations of Section 112(r)(7) of the Clean Air Act. Western Refining is required to complete the corrective actions already underway, namely to perform the inspections required by 40 C.F.R. Part 68 and American Petroleum Institute Standard 510 ( API 510 ) on TK-4055 and TK-4054 within six (6) months of the effective date of the AOC.
