Unilateral Administrative Order Without Adjudication
Case summary
On February 26, 2015, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Sections 308 and 309 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to CRM Energy Partners (Respondent) located in Skiatook, Oklahoma. The AO was issued in response to an unauthorized produced water discharge resulting in a violation of the CWA. The AO requires the Respondent to: (1) Immediately cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; (2) remove all produced wastewater from the flow path located between the facility and the discharge point of entry into Lost Creek; and (3) remove all produced wastewater from Lost Creek, which was discharged from the facility on or about January 27, 2015.
