On June 26, 2015, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Sections 1414(g) and 1445 of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to the Fort Selden State Monument water system, owned by the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, Historic Sites Division (Respondent), for SDWA violations. The AO was issued in response to monitoring and reporting violations for total coliform bacteria, and for failure to issue public notice for these violations.
